Videola is all about the Moody family, their struggle to keep their ‘vintage’ video store and fractured world from sinking. With a mysterious tragedy in the families’ past, the season starts as Gail Moody (played by Sean Young in the pilot), the mother, tries to keep her chin up and a straight face, as she and her less favorite twin daughter Joyce (Sam Rothermel) search for her missing twin, Laura, while her brother Sean (Gil Zabarsky) and aspiring writer girlfriend Heather (Adrienne Pluta) become sleuths in their own right as they spy and unravel the underworld Laura has fallen into that a man called “The Director” (Michael Pemberton), a visionary who stops at nothing, and his adopted protege Olive (Taylor Pfenning), set the path to change the world.
